I.e. buy a name that is objectively valued (if that exists) at around $10k wholesale, which could realistically resell for 5–10x retail in the long run, but moving it now for $12k in the shorter term.

The goal is to raise capital to build a portfolio.

This post has sat a while but I posted one of my good domains on here and got hit up with IM's by 2 people that wanted my minimum price. I am sure that is what they were trying to do and it may work. People will always try to low ball people and sadly will catch people who do not know what they have or how to bargain.

Hi

I think everyone who takes this 🐂 💩 seriously, wants to bank some $ for future acquisitions
however…. unless one has 5 figures to lose, then they aren’t likely to invest that amount for such a low roi

on other hand, if one had already invested that amount without a quick flip in mind, and the opportunity to make a quick profit presented itself, then one might be tempted to take the $ and move on.

this of course, always depends on actual domain and anticipated costs to replace..if portfolio growth is the goal

imo….
