Harry Potter Goblet Of Fire

Well hay guys, have just got back from the cinema! I have just seen “Harry Potter Goblet Of Fire” And what can I say?…. Not the best film! I was so eager to go and see the film and had such anticipation of the film and it let me down!

The film itself does not follow the style of the book in many ways! We do not see many scenes that are in the book! As it was put in a paper, you would have had to have to read the books to know what going on! They miss out a lot of information which is need to make HP4 a good film!

The film itself did not use the same layout as the 3rd HP film! Different locations, different forbidden forest and what the hell are bridges doing in the films! Its not even in the books! So why do they add it? Try to see it in a box set will not work, it is so different from all the others! Most of the people in the cinema said it was the worst one yet!

The film had good animations but was let down by the film itself, poor quality. The film was not what I expected and was the worst Harry Potter film yet!

So what you must say now is, “should I go and see it”?

If you are you must read the book so you know whats going on!

Ive read all the book, To date i Have not liked one of the films at all, and didint have any such high hopes for the 4th Either, I cant beleieve they can ruin something so much.

who told you that? its the worst one yet! and abour 300 people were on my side on this one! they all did not like it at all pop corn was throw at the screen at the end! one word "CRAP" such a mean way as well the books as the best! and the films just make the books bad! You will know what i mean if you have looked at the books then watch the films on how they are not the same they miss out so much infomation which is important to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've sen the movie, well i agree with you that the book was definitely far better than what they did in the movie. I was totally disappointed how they manipulated the whole thing like they rushed it so they could meet the deadline.

Unfortunately budgets and running times chew into a film's use of a book, especially if that book has a lot of hidden information that doesn't come through very well from the dialog. I think you are going to see a great divide between those that follow the books and those that follow the movies on what is good or bad in this case. Though the family are Potter fans, I'm not that much, but they usually have a decent story.

Will probably go see it over the holiday weekend...

its just not possible to show all the details in the book within 2.5 hours. and changing of directors with each film is not gonna help either :p

I've read all six books, several times over. I've seen all the films and I have not really liked any of them and I thought most of them missed out lots of sections of the books. But, when you think about it, the Harry Potter books are very long, and, to put that exactly into a film would probably take about 4 hours for each film

It's a good film overall, if you're just wanting to go see a good film, then go watch it, however, if you're going to watch it try and find a parallel between the film and book or you're going to see it without reading the books then I'd say don't bother.

DON'T WATCH IT EXPECTING EVERY EVENT FROM THE BOOK TO BE THERE OTHERWISE YOU WILL FEEL DISAPPOINTED. THAT'S NOT WHAT A MOVIE IS.

The movie has all the good characteristics which make it a good movie: suspense, excellent acting & plot, and hot girls to say the least. w00t, Cho & Fleur!

Yes but it does not follow the books! A film that is based on a book should follow it! not miss major bits out and change it as well!
