Hi All,

I guess i have found an innovative way to identity some good available domain names which I hand registered, to me these look good, but i am just wondering if they were that good - how were they even available to be registered.

So i thought i will share the list with you guys and take a quick feedback if you think these names are good or not. I am not asking for an appraisal, just a simple good or bad will do.

Not bad at all for hand registered names, imo.

the trick nowadays in hand registering domain names (aside from future tech trends) lies in finding the valuable prefixes which do "elevate" the keyword or 2 keyword combo which is usually registered already.. not all do make sense economically speaking though.. so it's still a hit and miss..

bestvideophones.com is my favorite. 'BEST' is always good for a review site.

Not bad. I've registered 500+ names since 2000. All but one was "hand registered". The one I piad for was with snapnames. Paid ยฃ314 for it and eventually let it expire!!!

Best sale (name only) was ยฃ5,000 for LondonToLet.com in 2000.

These days I don't register much on speculation. I get an idea for a site then I register a name to suit. I can always register a half-decent .com without paying anyone for their name, or a backorder.

One thing I have found, and which you touched on, I find some quite good names that are available that wouldn't have been available several years back. I think a lot of people have registered names in the boom time and let them expire. I sometimes get a surprise when I am able to register a name. Just recently I registered whoislookupservice.com for a WHOIS lookup service, and whoislookupscript.com for a WHOIS lookup script. The latter I was quite pleased to get and surprised that it was available.

You've obviously got some sense about you, so should do ok!

Are you bluffing us all??

OnlineUniversities.com has been registered since 1999. And still there with the same owner.
Now, as far as your other registered names, i have seen some of them at expired domains, but passed them.

If you are picking up names on the drop, i would suggest you to bet only on names that you are sure to sell. And, that is only possible with good research.
