Looks good. Can't see anything that immediately stands out to be changed.
The contest is great, i'll "borrow" that idea before too long for my forum.

You might want to consider adding on a Halo and Halo 2 section. This way you'd make room for the "old" Halo Players. Also, consider a tips/tricks/cheats thread at some point.
