People can say anything but it's really up to you and your trading strategy. Do you need the money now? How many other names do you have in your portfolio? Do you think there will be a better offer? These are the main questions.

Anyone who wants this for a real business (as opposed to parking) has way more than $200 to spend. As always, research the buyer before you do anything.

You can't research the buyer as he/she is anonymous through Sedo :(

I agree with studdomainer, 400 is not much to ask if they are genuinely interested. However, domains are easy to come by if you put the time in, sometimes its just worth selling when your making a profit that covers the time and effort you've put in. I know most of us are waiting for that 'dream deal' though! Personally speaking, if it was my domain, I'd ask for 400, but ultimately take 200 for it. This is just me though.

I would suggest not to counter offer for $400 on the money. Counter offer for like $385.00 or $415.00.

I think it's an excellent domain in a massive & very lucrative market with a great up and coming extension. I would never sell that name for $400 - Keep it for a year or two and then go for a xx,xxx sale.

I think you should also take a look at some other .us sales posted at DnJournal

2005 - http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2005-expanded-newtld.htm

even NutritionalSupplements.us went for $2,000 :)

Patience with this name will pay off big time IMO :)

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

I would counter-offer, but $200-$400 is pretty good if your new to domains. ;)

To me it will be a winner - Just think of how many potential end users there are that may be interested in CompensationClaims.us - How many Lawyers work in this field in the USA ?????? - I would hate to imagine ! :o
Everthing points to .us's becoming more popular and more valuable IMO.

I would sit on this for sure - but hey, it's only my opinion :) you just never know in this game.

Good luck :)

$20 says it's another domainer who sees the potential in that name. :)

it is possible that the offer comes from an end user ask for $850 + escrow. Don't shift.

ok thanks for the replies guys.. i think ill sit on it for a while.. do u have any suggestions on what to do with it?

I suggest that you leave it parked at sedo marked "offers"

Try your keyword as Injury Claims or Personal Injury Claims (at the moment it says compensationclaims without a space ???)

Test the keywords for about a month and see if you get clicks - also submit it to search engines.

And wait patiently
