domain Hack.info

Hi. I have acquired the domain "Hack.info". I found a couple of similar domains that have sold recently. The domain "Hacks.info" recently sold in a SEDO auction for $2250. Assuming that this is correct market value for Hacks.info, is there a certain rule of thumb that could be used to help value a singular form of a plural domain? (ie. a plural domian is worth 40% of the value of a singular domain). I have also found an auction for "hackers.info". The ending value of the auction was 3000 EUROs(approx US$4400), but the bidding history of the domain looks a little suspicious to me, so I don't know if this could be used to determine the true value of Hack.info. If anyone could give me an opinion as to what this domain could be worth, that would be very helpful.

I have bought hacks dot info and would have bought hackers dot info as well but i didnt notice it when i had cash tpo "spare".

Most of the time singular is more valuable than plural but for some words is better.
ts really how people speak with those words.
I believe dot info is more suitable in plural than singular.

I certainly give hack dot info 60% value of hacks dot info and more.

Hack.info is very nice, I would say its value would be on par with hacks.info.

low - mid $x,xxx in my opinion for that one.

Plural domains value can depend on the word itself. Some are better in the plural form, others vice versa. It is sometimes worth looking at the google results, in this case Hack has more results than hacks.

hack has 97,700,000 results in google
hacks has 54,100,000 results.

also it depends on the end user,
hack brings me in mind definition of hacks and usefull resources whiles hacks makes me think software hacks,hardware hacks,iphone hacks,constructment hacks
etc...


either way both r fine and brandable

What sounds better? Hack.info or Hacks.info? I feel that the 's' would be lower value.

if had the option i d buy both and then if not i d buy hacks first,
now i m getting back on subject because its a pitty to ruin YourIdealDomain topic.
