in usa, there are no tariffs, only taxes.

and 'energy' though we know what it is, is vague.
as in...what is the source of, or type of energy, and how you would put a tariff on it?

In the UK tariffs are a list of the fixed charges made by a business especially for use of gas and electricity.
Energy prices are a hot topic.
I feel this could have value as a price comparison type site for consumers
