domain Grupr.com (An offer has been made, need advice)

A Venture Capitalist called me up and made me an offer on Grupr.com, a domain I do plan to use and treasure.

Currently his first offer was $2000 which I turned down and is now asking how much I'd consider parting with.

Like I stated, I did have plans for this domain but I would like to know what you think the domain is worth for GRUPR.com

Personally, if you got a $2k offer for this name, I'd take it. I'd 1st counter higher them settle on a price in between.

To a reseller, it's worth reg fee IMO

Agreed. There are still quite some LLLLL.com domains available to register, i'd grab the 2k and walk, eventually push for 3k. The question is what your emotional involvement or future financial outlook with this domain is? If you believe that you can generate an amount equal to the offer, not consider hosting and costs of labor, within 12-18 months, then i'd consider to increase the amount for the domain. If not,.... well,..you get what i mean.

I instead pushed a tad higher, I feel like I could develop this domain to a much higher price then $2000 and it is very marketable in my own mind for the product I am developing.

Let us know what you sell it for...

Anything above $2000 is a great sell.

Get rid of it.
