Everyone talks about GreatDomains.com, but I never visited the site until today. Upon doing so, I go immediately to the .tv section and guess what I discover. I find one of my .tv names listed for what I have to admit is a nice sum of money. However, I never listed it with them. In fact, I purchased my .tv name directly from the .tv corporation. This leads me to believe that verisign has started to move some of its premium inventory onto GreatDomains.com and they are not updating it frequently enough. Or the domain I have was previously owned by another individual who listed it with GreatDomains.com and simply did not renew his registration and the domain got relisted on www.tv.
Can anyone provide me with any insights on this? I am curious to learn how or why the domain is listed. I would prefer not to list the domain as of yet because of a pending negotiation over its sale. The purchaser initially offered more than what was listed on greatdomains and then he discovered the GreatDomains listing and brought it to my attention. As a result, he lowered his bid to what was on GreatDomains. Now, I have no intention of accepting the lower offer but I can this being a problem in the future. Any ideas?
