GreatDomains.com - Please Post Accepted and Denied Names

One of my names, PinotGrigiot.us, was recently accepted by GreatDomains.com after having several names denied. I had a small thread going about this before, but I'd like to start a larger thread where everyone can post which names they've submitted to Great Domains and the outcome. This may help us get a better understanding of how they select names.

They do seem to like .tv domains. I wonder why....

They like .cc too.
It's no wonder as GD is now Verisign-owned and Verisign is running the registries for .cc & .tv.

accepted by greatdomains.com for premium listing, asking price: $11.000 it will be listed in a few days. the word capturing fits perfect with the extension .tv

Seems GreatDomains is kind of losing its grip, haven't seen any sales recently.

I used to send lots of names to GD when I thought getting them listed might mean they would sell one or two. After getting around 30 listed, and never hearing a whisper of a sale through them, I sort of had to reconsider.

I thought these guys were experts in domain choices, and thought when they selected my domains it meant they were "great" and people would want them. I was wrong.

It doesn't take much of an expert to know that cyberspace(dot)com or checkbook(dot)com are great names, but now I see a ton of cc names for $5k -$10k, too.

As I've posted before, after a year with no sales through them, I contacted them and asked for stats on hits to any of my listings. They said they don't keep track. If they really don't, that's not good. If they do and wouldn't tell me, that's no better.

Lastly, just now visiting their site to check them out, I got lots of white screen errors on searches and just changing screens...not a good thing.

They don't seem to be selling a lot of domains these days. Domains must be a side business to them :p
No offense, but the .cc or .tv domains do not belong there IMHO. They have domains that are Fortune 500 grade types but are blowing their credibility by mixing the wheat with the shaft.
