Ive just came across that im keeping secret at the moment becuase people will try to copy it. Its an idea to stop theives online. I have found a quality .com domain name but as you can see the $NP's are low on regging it. The site would be useful to use with NamePros. As i said its secrect atm cos people will try to copy it. Once the domains regged i will let the cat out of the bag!

What im asking is for people to donate at least $10NP to me. All people who donate will become a part of the project and will become a member of the team ( to which the site is about ). Also all donators will get POP3 email address' and will become Moderators of the site.

Also i will link all NamePros sites to it.

Like i said once the DN is regged i will let the cat out of the sack, i guarentee this idea will be very! useful. And the reason im Using NP to reg the domain is so that if this prooves to be a scam the admin can delte my account and all my domains.

Im currently setting up the boards for Admins and Helpers.I have just set all the nameservers and new hosting, just awaiting for the changes. I will also set up all the email accounts for the Admins. I have to clear something up befor i go any further.

IM NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE $NP's as it is to late yes. People who donated After this post will recive a refund. All people who donated will get cuts in profits and on the site, which im currently sorting out, depending on how much you donated. I think 'Manic Girl' was the highest

Let me stress that money is not the issue to why im designing this site. The site is a learning curve for some, for some it will be some fun, for others it will put pressure to work ( especially me ). Money will come as a bonus to the hard work people put in.

All donators ( Percentage Holders ) DO NOT have to do anything, its up to you though, but you all have a say in what goes on.

Im gonna get back to work on this, the boards ( group managment ) will be up shortly.

I have an idea that i think would add value.

How about offering members an email account on the site. This email account would be a webmail account. When a member logs on to thier webmail account a script runs which checks all the emails in the users account against the database of scammers email addresses in the sites database. It would then flag any emails for which the sender is found in the scammer database. Kind of like a scammer filter if you see what i mean.

Just a simple idea, let me know what you think.

P.s I take it i'm still in as i havent heard otherwise??

I was looking at eScam.com. They claim that "eScam is a trademark and copyright 1999-2004 of Lee Lawrence and Fresh Idea." Could this name possibly have TM issues?

The only trademark that was active on "escam" expired in 1994.

Maybe you should look out for a domain where the .com is also available.
Cause IMO this is a golden rule when building succesfull websites that you own all mayor TLDs.
How about:
ScamPros.com/net/info/etc.. or
Scamy.com/net/etc...

at least try to buy escam_com from the original owner (currently parked), BEFORE you launch the .net version.

Ok first off try to imagine it as a Virus Database, BUT.... With Scammers ( will also feature Spammers ).

MONEY: Money will be made from Affilates, Adsence. Another future development, which has been discussed in the past with some software designers i know, is a peice of software that will scan emails for potential/registered Scammers. This software will be sold for a price. This was an idea of mine about a year ago, but had no backing and funding.

I have a few mates who will help out, who are MySQL experts, BUT......anyone who wants to add to the team of designers feel free . Everyone who donated have as much say as me about the website, if somethings not right, or you have an idea, air it out. Im currently developing an Admin Board that is for admins to discuss, debate, vote ect. All in the pipeline.

Just popped in and this is my first post..
I've been in the Adult end of the Bizzzz for over 8 years and if you ever
want to put a site up for Virus, spyware and adware I can give you
the IPs and sites of 90% of the people pushing it.
Can also give you the people that write the shit including a Canadian
Co and a College in Boston..
Most of the spyware is laid on ya as Java Jars not through ActiveX
and using Firefox or Netcrap doesn't help.

No matter where ya get it tho all the info is sent back to less than a
dozen IPs that collect it..
Block them in your firewall and they're dead, The affil sites that give you
the Trojan actually only gives you 2 Jars (1 is a Zip) and one opens
the Zip when you reboot and it goes to a url and automaticaly
downloads the comands to send them the info on the sites you're
visiting ect....

Check your Docs&Settings/Whichever Your Using/jpi_cache/jars/1.0
and read some of the crap in there, you can open them with Notepad
and run the IP in the regular jar not the Zip which will have the same number.
That opens the Zip file which has a bunch of Classfiles in folders
in it...

VerifierBug, GetAccessClass, SecurityClassLoader..

Some also look for CC info and other private stuff..

MOST is also spread by Russians and the greatest amount of sites
pushing it are registered by ESTdomains.com.. EVERY site
registered there is bad!!

Anyway if you want to add Trojans to your site let me know and I'll give
ya enough to let people block 90 some % of Trojans but I don't have time
to make a site..
If you do want to add that kind of info I can also tell you how to get rid of almost anything you get..
And I'll host the site for ya free on a rocket Box!

Sounds like a great project, best of luck with it though. Although I would find it hard to keep the database updated daily without a huge team to lookout for these scams.

You're right about the Adult Bizzz and the Trojans but the Game Sites and
sites like Kaaza are even worse..
The Cos that write the crap do it for all parts of the industry..
With the Toolbars and the Adware you know ya have it..

With Spyware most people have NO idea it's there..
It just quietly sends info back to one of a few places with info of
where ya surfing ect..

I only have a few minutes but here's something to think about..
One of the first StartPage hijackers was called CoolWebSearch and
it changed your start page to CoolWebSearch.com instead of Google
or Yahoo whatever you were using..
Then they just keep changing it to other sites who wanted you to use
them to search the net like isearchtech.com, therealsearch.com and a lot more..
They sell it to sites lthat have affiliate programs and pay webmasters for everytime it's downloaded by someone.
By the way if you ever got one that changed your StartPage and caused
ya all kinds of grief the ass that gave it to ya got 15 cents for it..
There are a few thousand webmasters giving it to ya so people think
there's no way to avoid it except with programs like SpySubtract, Ad-Aware
and a few dozen more which are wrote by the same people who wrote the Trojan most of the time..
There is a Rainbow in the sky tho, ALL the sites laying it on people have 1
thing in common! THEY don't give it to ya!!

You'll see that it sends you someplace to get the actual download..
It looks something like the version below which is basicaly the same..

So if you block out xxxtoolbar.com or the IP Address: 216.127.33.119
with your firewall it can't download in your puter and even if 100 affils
try to give it to you it can't get past your firewall...

You can block a small amount of IPs with your Firewall and avoid getting almost everything because it's the same basic thing..
