Established Great web asset for sale: 500 Incoming links

Hi Guys,

One of my great website assets is for sale on eBay. This site has over 500 incoming links all over the internet.

I bought it recently from Ebay, as you can see from the link on the auction. Need to generate some cash, this can be a great opportunity for you.

I looked at the auction. Some questions... It looks like you're selling a whole business. If I were to purchase it, I would have to answer user questions, support the software, etc. Does it include source code and documentation for the sofware it's selling? Do you know if the software is actually any good? Does it have some sort of shopping cart for taking sales?
If it does have 500+ incoming links then it may be worth something ($xx or possibly low $xxx) just as a domain to park at someplace like Sedo. As a business it may be worth more but I'm a little skeptical about have to support someone elses software. Can you answer my concerns?

I will try to answer your questions.

The software is pretty easy to configure and support. This is an html and email encryption software. You will not have any problems supporting this software.

As you can see from within the link at the auction, I bought it at EBay recently for $554. I think if marketed properly, this website as it is can generate decent revenue with google adsense + encryption software sale.

I also believe that with a motivated developer this websites can be redeveloped, utilizing the incoming links to get higher conversions. As you can see with a basic research that most of incoming links are screen saver related. When I purchased this website, I was planning to redevelop the site, but unfortunately I don't have the bandwidth currently, and hence its listing on eBay.

I'm not sure that my question was answered. Is the software some kind of script (Perl, Javascript, ASP, etc.) or is it compiled executables? If it's compiled executables, what is the language and OS and are the source, documentation, supporting files, etc. included with it? Also, since it's encryption software, is there a mechanism to keep it from being downloaded to someplace outside the US? (Or has that law been changed?) I'm not trying to be a pain but these are important considerations.
