Reason for sale: I have no time to keep it updated, answer daily emails and do maintenance. I feel I can’t do justice to the site’s potential and I hope someone else can take over and give it the care it deserves.
Strengths of site: Very loyal and dedicated members in our forum. Membership increases daily, SERP rankings improve despite site inactivity! Great niche, little competition. High bidding keywords (Alamo car rental, Alamo hotels, etc). Works well with AMAZON because most users are educated. ZERO EXPENSES (other than typical hosting)
Newsletter subscription database: 2500+ members, highly targeted.
Forum Stats: 1741 users, 70,000+ posts! (highly loyal)
Weakness: Site has outgrown its scope and navigation structure needs to be fixed. Site URL no longer reflects the scope of the site.

Google: Fluctuates from #3 - #5 for “the Alamo” (keyword phrase searched 26,000 times in January 2005) and #9 for “Alamo” (keyword searched 90,000 times in January 2005!) Note: The Alamo is the #1 tourist attraction in the state of Texas and one of the top 5 in the Country.
Yahoo: #2 for "the Alamo", #6 for "alamo"
