Great news! First sale!

Today I have been lucky enough to have negotiated my first sale of a domain name.

I'm really excited, not just because I'm making some profit (at last!) but because the whole process has been both interesting and educational!

Sale is for a 4 letter dot net that cost me reg fee approx 2 months ago..... agreed sale price is just over $700.

Also pleased because it's a private sale, so no sedo fees. I've just set up an Escrow account and the buyer is paying fees!

My domain is registered with Godaddy, is the process of transfering the domain through Escrow easy and do Godaddy charge me anything for pushing?

I too have made my first sale today for $400.
I negotiated the offer from a local source who found me from whois listing.
The buyer contacted me and asked if I would like to sell a Dallas search domain that I've had for a couple months. I immediatly listed on SEDO thinking I would try there services for $400. The buyer wrote back he would be happy to pay $400 but he would rather not go thru SEDO.
I wrote back I would accept his offer only if we use escrow.com, he agreed.
I received confirmation today that a check or money order has been received and that they were verifying funds. I guess I'm one step closer to completion.

One Question to the group?
Should I provide a Domain Sales Contract to limit my liability. If so anyone know of a good template I may use.
