Great News for .tv in China.
Hi My Friends,
I just arrived at Beijing China from Phoenix USA for my winter holiday. After I
have settled down in a Hotel, what I did is to find a Net bar nearby, and check the LVYOU.tv (LVYou is Chinese PinYin version of Travel ) which I think was deleted today.
To my big big surprise, the default homepage for about 100 computers in this net bar when I started one computer.
is www.com.tv. Then I checked the alexa rank of www.com.tv. It is 4623
which I think is the highest alexa rank for .tv sites. I then
checked whois, com.tv is regged to 2011. I then wen to the web of www.com.tv. There are 7085072 users right now.
It is big shock to me. I think this must be a big marketing of .tv in China. I then talked to the boss of this net bar. I was told that this company pay them advertising fee ( the amount is still a secret to me right now.)
for the default homepage of ie and also the display on the desktop of the computer.
Great News, isn't it ?
