I like your approach of focussing on keywords and risking the extension rather than just staying within the .com tramlines.
IMHO, the name with the greatest potential is ef.bz which I would push as 'energy forum benzine' The possibilities are both high and interesting, so would initially appraise as something $xxx.

As for check.ws - I think low XXX - Mid XXX great domain!
I suggest you hold on to the 2 character domains you have, they will become very valuable in the next few months...

I like check.ws. I would be interested seeing if you get any traffic to the domain and if so, what your CTR would be. I think check.ws has many other uses than just parking it. For instance, it may be a nice tool to check website coding.

I could actually see an end user being interested in check.ws and because of this, I will appraise it at mid xxx now until more development is done.
