I just had to share this with you guys

I got a new domain (just regged it : 2005-11-22)
Its a casino domain and I parked it at a Parking Program
( i am not sure i am allowed to tell what program/domain it is )

Date Earnings
2005-11-23 $20.32
2005-11-26 $87.02

The days inbetween were also pretty good. But today (2005-11-26)
I have i think the higest income (for a day) from 1 domain. (for me)
(and the day is not even over = ) )

Very nice revenue there! To be honest, I find it difficult to understand why your parking services would object to a bit of publicity (isn't that what the Internet is all about, anyway?), but I can understand you not wanting to risk your account.

However, do post what parking service you're working with if you find out that doing so will not violate any ToS.

Sincerely,
George

hey faisj, i agree with GC. Your parking site owner will be proud to have more parkers coming his way. So could you please tell us? If it goes beyond this reason, then you dont have to tell us :(.

Well the domain name is just a few days old so it can't be from search
engines. (as such they are simple user typo's)

I think you need to do a research. I used to re-regged a name I once owned and dropped, however the creation date appeared on whois is the new date when I re-regged it instead of the original date I regged one and half year ealier. And I don't know why.
Besides, Very rare unregged domains have type-in traffic. How do you confirm this domain was not developed before and then dropped without snapping by any dropwatchers and remained available until you digged it out again.
Just curious, and it might help you to find a strategy for this name instead taking it for granted that it is purely type-in. Don't think it in a wrong way. I am more than happy to see you get a precious one. Good luck with your name.

From the stats I can see where they come from...
(not from links or google or anything like it)

I checked it with google if the domain name was known

checked it with waybackmachine.org

etc...

Ps. I just spoke with my account manager (Mike)

and well here is the information:

Domain is parked at Fabulous :D

Thanks Faisj - I have just one poker typo that's bring in a decent amount but click throughs could be better I think :) I might give Fabulous a try, do you know if they have a minimum limit of domains you need to park ?

Wow: almost $90 in one day from a newly registered name that wasn't dropped? I'm just very surprised that no one else picked up the name before if it's getting that much type-in traffic. Very strange, but possible, I guess.

I suppose there's always these flukes of finding an excellent unregistered domain. Something that makes $90 from pure type-ins, and doesn't have any history or links pointing to it is actually an amazing find, considering that it's most likely going to be sustainable.

Anyway, I'd be extremely interested in hearing what this name is. Are you allowed to divulge that yet?
