Hello guys,

Its been a long time since i last asked for an appraisal :hehe:

I just registered graips.com

Anyway, i know this name may have no direct value but what do you think about it in terms of brandability, ideas & concepts?


Im thing alongst the lines of graips.com: because grapes was taken, a kind of humor site.

Would love to hear your ideas.

Assuming is an invented word, I must assess it by how I looks and sounds, etc. So I'd say $0 - $50 range

I actually never viewed this name as being pronounced as "grapes".

When I first saw the title, I thought "GRA IPS"

"IPS" has many meanings, and many end-users. Only thing is, those end-users need to be named OR using the abbreviation/acronym "GRA". This is where the limitation exists.

There is only one other domain that contains "graips", i.e. corintegraips.org, but it's not developed.

No end-users exist here, and it's not similar in anyway to "grapes". Would need to spelled out to a person who needs to visit the site. Perhaps "grapez" would be brandable, but also a poor name.

I appraise graips.com at $0

Graips...I like that. That is a very good Homophone. Those are my favorite type of word creations. I have sexszy.com and sleaszy.com Whenever, you create a homophone, I believe that gives added value to a created word because then it doesn't sound totally foreign. In my opinion this is very brandable. Being that is not long, I'd say that it is definitely worth something between $50 to $100 for a reseller and $500 to $1500+ to an end user.:imho:

I think it's a cool and "funny" way to go about branding Graips.com

That Dave Chappelle grape drink video adds a nice touch. (The part where he is held hostage on the bus is also very funny! )

Thank you for your appraisal. Yes, i also knew that it was an actual word, yet it probably wouldn't be cost effective to develop it as a technical graip (word still cracks me up for some reason) Rep upped

Thank you for the great feedback :D I did it myself, the writing is a joint effort between me and a friend doing creative writing. I just had to develop this name for some reason and it would be good for him so we decided to get started. Rep upped
