Grabbing Domains

Does anyone know how you can grab domains from your desktop using programs/applications. I have seen a couple but I dont remember the URL or names. It would be preferable if they could grab from Enom, or another site that offers PayPal as a payment method to register your domain.

Paypal? If you get a eNom reseller account you can use http://www.desktopapi.com/

I use the desktopapi mentioned above. If you have a bigger budget, you can also try dropscripts.com or dropscript.com - both of these, as well as desktopapi, are owned by namepros member dropscripts .

Have you had any success with using DesktopAPI armstrong? Also from what times do you make it check and register with Enom?

In my experience, these scripts can't compete with the drop services - pool, snapnames, namewinner, clubdrop. They can, however, get names that are not so in demand.

Times differ, and change once in a while, depending on the extension. Best you see for yourself by checking what time the best domains dropped from the past week or so. You can get this info by checking whois and noting what time the domains were created.

Hi,

I do use the script from dropscript.com, it is true that it usually just catches the less sought after ones. But I have had one that it caught when I also had it on backorder through GoDaddy and Enom's club drop...but that was very rare, however it does only take acouple of those to pay for the script.
