I just spoke with eu.pool.com and I am almost as upset with them as I am with Godaddy.

Yes, I was awarded the domain, but if there was someone else that has asked for it, it goes into auction.

If I would have known this, I would have reged it with several other registars. This seems sneeky and underhanded.

Pool and Sibername - two Canadian registrars I won't deal with again. That whole auction crap just isn't worth it IMHO... they do know how to make money though!
