S h o p B u c k e t .com (without spaces :))

I got an offer on this one for $200. What are your thougths? Take it or no?.

I like the sound of the domain, a mixture of shoppingcart and photobucket.

less than 2 year old domain and it's about to expire in 4 months I would take the offer unless you have a plan to develop this domain.

hold on

why give it away,it's a good name with lots of branding potential

I'd up your price to $1000,you can always work down, play the bluff. You have absolutely nothing to lose

hmm well this is a good name if you need the money sell it otherwise hold on to this..i really think it is worth more than $200..renew it and make a counter offer..if you like it then sell :)

best of luck

Depends on you and your situation imo.. If you have develpment plans or not in need of the money, I would hold.. But its a fair, but not over the top offer for a name you may have no intentions of doing anything with or if you need the $.

Good luck in whatever you decide :D

I would take the offer, it sounds fair.

Good Luck

It's a good domain. I'd ask for at least $350 unless you REALLY need the money and don't want to lose the sale.

yeah agree with above, if you can afford to walk-away. I would.

If the buyer really wants it - they will pay at least $1k

If they dont, then they are not "your buyer"

But if that $200 will make a difference in your life, take it.

The offer sounds very reasonable. In my opinion, I think you should accept the offer immediately.

I personally feel that if you are contacted, you should always counteroffer.

Send it to auction imo

Accept the offer. The name is nice, but not spectacular. Too many variants, and "shopping" would sound better (imagine telling someone to visit "shopbucket dot com"..."shaw-bucket?".."no, SHOPuh-bucket." Make sense?

Got the offer via ND not Sedo so no can do.

Not really, but I'm kinda slow that way. :red:

The name has too many variants and bucket isn't the strongest suffix, so I would make a counter offer with the intention to sell for $200 (if it comes to it). Just ask yourself if you think you'll get another offer and if you would pay $200 for the domain name, because essentially that is what you are doing if you don't sell (minus your original cost).

Isn't bucket shop Britspeak for travel agency or ticket consolidators ?

I think the offer is decent. I too would counter with $350 or maybe $400 to see if the buyer is willing to budge.

I think the advice given above by almost all who replied is right on the money.

the $200 are on the lower end of the scale of value.
if you need the cash, take the offer, other than that, renew and build the site, then see where revenue takes you.
Even if you don't develop the domain, renew and see whether you can get more than just $200.

Initial offer is always a lowball offer from their side. I would counter with at least 1k.
