I have been offered $300 for ClientFAQ.com. Should I take it, or is this domain worth more than that?

Opinions appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Tony

If I were you, I would take the $300 offer.

Reasons are:

All extensions of ClientFAQ are available except .COM, the client could choose ClientFAQ.net for Reg Fee.

OR, ClientFAQs.com is available, it is also a good choice.

ClientFAQ the name itself is not that strong and you are lucky you find the right end-user.

Good Luck on the sale.

I guess term "Client FAQ" is more widespread than "client FAQs". Client FAQ is a generic term.

I definitely think this domain is worth more than $300...

I would sell it for $300, no other extentsion is taken, not always a valid way to determine value but it would be easy to get the .net...

Thanks for the feedbacks guys. Would you buy this domain at $500 as suggested by btrader?

If i were the seller I would not buy it for $500.00. I would simply put an S at the end and pay reg. fee. Or opt for a .net extension. I say you sell for 300.00 :)

FAQ is much more common term than "FAQs"... FAQ by itself means "frequently asked questionS". So ClientFAQ.com is better than ClientFAQs.com.

In my opinion I would take it. Turn it over, redeem what you can and move on to your next sale. Thats how I try and work. I agree that if I was the buyer i would probably seriously consider clientFAQs or even the .net option. It seems like a fairly random domain that you should probably sell and get the bux while you can. Best of luck with your counter offer, you have nothing to lose but the sale :) Goodluck!

I guess Tony is right... I would pay $350 for ClientFAQ.com. PM sent.

Depends on the source of the offer for me, as well as your own motivation to sell. If this is an offer from a reseller, i.e. someone on a forum etc, I would probably take the offer, invest and keep going. If it was an offer where someone has found your domain from a list on say sedo, or afternic, I may consider a slightly higher counteroffer of say $350-$400. If somebody has tracked you through whois data etc and actively pursued this particular name, I would probably counter at $600-$700. All of this of course assumes that you are trying to sell the name for a relatively fast turnaround.

This is a good price for that domain. I would sell it for that price.

Don't forget client does not just mean a customer. A client is also software that runs locally on a computer.

How long has the name been up for sale? If not long I'd counter offer a higher ammount. Nice name.

I would accept the offer + escrow costs to buyer.
BTW, IMHO I would disregard the above comments that the buyer can take the .net or add an s to the end of the name. These observations disregard the premium value of having the singular .com and also disregard the lost traffic to the .com Not the best of advice for an end user who should really be recommended to pay a premuim for the .com singular name.................which s/he has.
