https://www.atom.com/ultra-premium-marketplaceman atom they really RIP off with fees... what was it 30?
hmmm someone just posted sale on np and said something like 4k sale and 2.8k net.. but I'll double check.
It could be, depending on whether or not the domain was listed (accepted) in the Ultra Premium section. This is regardless of whether or not the domain is actually Ultra Premium (as in this case).hmmm someone just posted sale on np and said something like 4k sale and 2.8k net.. but I'll double check.
Premium and Ultra Premium is s'thing different @ Atom.com.here
For Atom Premium accepted names: yes.in either case it's a mega ripoff to get 2.8 on 4.2 sale. worst rate in domain biz I think. plus they force u to use their dns true?
Yes, that info is correct for that specific tier. Atom's commission structure for Premium accepted domains is based on tiers, and indeed, for a domain that sells at $4,000 (final selling price), their commission will be $1,200 (30%).hmmm someone just posted sale on np and said something like 4k sale and 2.8k net.. but I'll double check.

It is important to keep realizing that Atom spends substantial amounts on active promotion of premium accepted domains with paid advertising.

See this recent tweet from Atom.com's CEO about their advertising efforts, saying:
"This LinkedIn ad is a good example that recently led to a sale of a showcased name. While LinkedIn ads cost about 10X more than X ads, their ability to reach entrepreneurs and top execs at scale is incredibly powerful."
You can ask Atom about this.tnx... despite all this if they force u to use their lander then as I said before u simply willnever know if u could have had that sale on free np lander and 5% dan add lead fee. unless they give u some specific info that a sale was made possible only via their site and not by lander.
You can ask Atom about this.
Darpan: "While there's a common belief that high-value domains don't need advertising, we're finding that even ultra-premium domains can see an acceleration in sales when promoted with the right type of ads & targeting"
Unlike you, I'm less cynical about this.thats only a promo empty statement.
Unlike you, I'm less cynical about this.
But as you know, I am critical where necessary, regardless of which marketplace it concerns.
