LOL..I thought someone had hacked google when i saw the new logo.Don't know much of what to think about that logo.

That is only because it is National Teacher Week. For a bunch of holdidays Google changes it logo to celebrate that holiday. Don't worry the original Google logo will be back soon.

You guys can't just see the .com of google or you can't see the .com of every site? I am confused.

it seems if you live outside of the US you get redirected in google to the more localised google site. Had only just noticed this when people posted about it.

If you're that desperate to see the .com, find a proxy located in the US and use that proxy to access Google. I'm sure it'll take you to the .com.
