Google Search Vs Google Image Search Question

I am curious why my blog is placed on page 1 for some of keywords/ phrases in google images but does not register until page 4+ on google search ?

Probably because SEO images differs from standard SEO.

may be because other sites related to those keywords does not contain much pictures and may be because of what thibaut mentioned here.
