Google Keyword Tool Question

Can anyone say whether the search stats in the Google Keyword Tool are correct? and whether there is another free tool I can use to get search stats. I am seeing a huge difference between the Google numbers and the Estibot numbers and I am just not sure which one is correct. Thanks.

Estibot's number's are probably derived from the GAKT, therefore, I would think that trusting Google would be more beneficial.

There are so many tools out there, and they predominately all use some sort of stats from google.

I use googles tool and feel it is much more up to date and accurate than estibots.

Are you sure you're comparing apples to apples?. i.e exact or broad searches?. Estibot will not always be accurate but there is a big discrepancy between 1,300 and 60,000.

maybe Estibot are exact searches (and you didnt put that option in GKT)...

Estibot is based upon Googles old algorithms that assumed that people didn't want to actually know the search volume from GOOGLE but a completely random guess from all the other search engines too. As such it is hopelessly inaccurate and not worth anyones time of day until it is fixed.

Supposedly the new keyword tool from Google is based upon actual Google searches so will be far more accurate
