Forget about Microsoft or Yahoo.
Yahoo will died this year.

If your site is indexed by google, that is more than enough...

I believe yahoo will be bought out by microsoft this year if not yahoo will died.

Without the search, yahoo is just like any BS site.

Yahoo has most number of email users I think. Yahoo has Yahoo games, Yahoo chat, Yahoo finance, Lots of other things.

as far as domain parking goes I have always preferred a yahoo feed as it allows you to set titles, meta tags and custom content at places like parked.com trafficz.com etc... I will admit though that 2 weeks ago I dusted off my sedo, namedrive, domainsponsor, fabulous google feed parking accounts and am giving them another shot as the extra features yahoo allows that help get them in the search engines are worthless if no advertisers are using yahoo as there is no chance of keyword bidding bringing in good cash when 70% of the advertisers are using google, I personally advertise with google for a few clients accounts and don't use yahoo and more and more people I talk to are pulling out from yahoo as well, I kinda hope microsoft does buy them out as I don't feel yahoo is on the right path to be any competition at least not at the pace they are moving.

I think it depends on what country you are from.

While I agree that most of my traffic comes from google, I know many people who's traffic mostly comes from Yahoo.

Just depends - depending on your target audience, I would use methods to increase your site in both google and yahoo.

The second source of most traffic that comes to my site is from Yahoo. So I think Yahoo is not going to die that soon :)

Czar you almost hit your prediction dead on with the recently announced search deal (Yahoo search will die once the deal is done). Czar do you know who'll win the Super Bowl this season?

You should not say that Yahoo will be dead this year. We all know that Yahoo is a big company just like others, they can't be died without any valid reasons.

Yahoo and Microsoft have agreed to work together on search engine rankings. So, expect better competition.
