Google cache catches China's underage gymnast fraud

also not the first time china has sent underage gymnasts. for the 2000 sydney olympics:

Yang's passport said she was born on December 24, 1984 and turning 16 in the year of the Games, making her eligible. She later confessed in a television interview that she was only 14 at the time of the competition and that she and her coaches had lied about her age.

there are obviously many problem with lying and doing whatever it takes to cover the truth, but is child abuse really necessary? i doubt china will change anytime in my lifetime with regards to all this since it's run by a bunch of greedy, heartless "leaders," but hopefully the ioc will take away those undeserved gold medals. it is a privilege for beijing to host the olympics - not a right.

p.s., keep an eye out for the 5-9 year olds here at the next summer olympics...
