Google Analytics reporting

How often are website stats updated on google analytics? Is it only 24 hours a day? If so, is there a tool out there that updates in realtime (besides my logs)?

I've come to use more AWSTATS than google analytics lately. Awstats are server side and seem to be more accurate. cPanel X has awstats built in.

Not sure how often analytics runs their updates, look in the FAQ, should have an answer in there.

Google analytics appears to update just once a day...

I think when you look at the default report view it shows you stats ending with yesterday. But, if you edit the date range, you can include today...although, I'm not sure how often it's updated.
