The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

It depends on your placement of the second ad, as well as whether or not the keyword(s) your site generates has(have) enough ads to fill the space.
Don't simply put one ad on top of the other (usually doesn't work as well), but put it elsewhere in the layout.
If you have the URL of the page, PM me and I'll see if I can help you out.

According to Google you are allowed 2 as long as they are different SIZES.... When I see a site with the same size ads 2 or more times I email adsense's abuse...

the fact is, i add it to a forum. Like namepros, i added 1 (728x90) banner to "showthread template". and i want to add 1 more (364x60) banner to my forum banner, like namepros.

But it doesnt work.

I added adsense to one site and it wouldnt show. I moved it to a new location on the page and it works. Maybe try that?

Zurax,
Just so you (and everyone) knows, straight from the TOS

Google said:
Ad Placement
Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page, but no ad unit shall contain any advertisement in common with any other ad unit. Serving two or more identical ads on a single page constitutes double-serving, which Google does not support.
A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. This includes error, login, registration, "thank you" or welcome pages.
No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email.
No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads, and the ad colors must be such that any ad elements, including text and URL, are visible.
Clicks on Google ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.

I wonder when they raised it to 3... but still says "Serving two or more identical ads on a single page constitutes double-serving, which Google does not support." and to me that means 2 of the same size... Unless theres another way to limit what the ads show...

You can use frames to get multiple ads with the same content by double serving the same page at the same time on top of one another.
That is against TOS.
Having multiple ads that are the same size... I don't see that in the TOS?

Here's a bet: We don't get personalized e-mails to our complaints ;) I found a site some of my adwords ads were on that stated in big letters, "PLEASE CLICK THESE ADS TO HELP US KEEP OUR SITE". I complained because my adwords ad was on that site, costing me money for worthless clicks on a page that was violating the TOS. I got a form letter back from Google thanking me for my concern, typical form letter jazz ;)

Yes I sometimes get that cookie cutter one but also I get personal letters.

So...
Can someone have two or three blocks of adds of identical size in ONE page (not framed)????
As I understand it from the TOS is possible. The double serving is in case of Frames.
I've seen in one of my sites with add blocks of different sizes advertisement to the same advertiser

Thanks for this info it will help me out alot when I signup for adsense soon. Also, if I were to put more then one ad on my website it would have to be 2 different sizes right?

New TOS seems to say they can be the same sizw. But I am seeing a lot of sites with the same size ads with the same links/ads in them.
