Hello.
We need a good and reliable domain name registrator for a big hosting company. Searching for good prices and good API.

What I've found:
1. Directi - is it stable? dunno...
2. Enom
3. Wild West Domains (Go Daddy) - they have no .name/.mobi @ WWD :(
4. ???

We really need a good API to automatize domain name registration when our client is ordering hosting.

Also it's not a problem for us to credit our account with a nice sum of money, I think :)

So I need to compare registrators with: availability of API (working with many TLDs), prices for registration and renewal in every TLD, prices of redemtion and transfer - please, help me with that.

For example,
eNom - .com $7.45, API for all TLDs.. but I don't know prices for .info/.mobi/etc? renewal and redemption fee?

Hope u'll help me :)

enom and directi are the "industry standard" providers.

For "satisfaction" of those who use both, my personal experience has been that enom is a little easier and is more seamless from a customer's point of view. In fact, NamePros own system is powered by eNom http://www.namepros.com/domainreg.php .

Registrator?

I think maybe you've coined a new term. :)

Perhaps everyone's favourite international leader is lining up a new job from next Jan?

GoDaddy/WWD do have .mobi and .name- I can see them both for sale on my reseller package.
I've been considering changing to eNom although not done it yet. The WWD reseller is easy to set up, but it's darn ugly. The added bonus is I'm still able to offer $6.95 .coms without any coupons...

edit: I just noticed you were asking about WWD API Reseller, I have the SuperReseller account not the API one, so there may well be differences...

Most of the BIG hosting companies I've seen use eNom as their registrar provider. I think that speaks a thousand words.

hehe. I think that has something to do with the fact the popular billing system ModernBill comes with free $8.49 eNom Reseller Account.
