Here's one for specialist appraisers amongst you.

GolfersOnline.com is just the home base for a network of "GolfCourses" domains that I own. You can see them all on the site GolfersOnline.com

Some very nice names and quite a few are already developed but very few,if any, properly monetized as yet. The plan was to build and monetize the whole network but it has become too big for me to deal with and no longer have the time or inclination so will possibly be looking to sell, probably as a package.

Any rough ideas of a ballpark figure?

Brandable domain. Almost none search volume, no google ads. Understand that golf is classy sport, but I do not like your domain too much. Imho, resseler value is in mid to high $xx range. Do not have any idea how it can be monetized. Maybe to create online top list of golf players or something like that, but that is not kind of site which will be popular among golfers...there are lot of developed and popular golf portals with content like that. I saw here much much better domains in your portfolio. Anyway, it's just me :) Good luck %%-

Thanks very much for the input, but I guess you did not quite read the post.
What about the other 34 domains, AmericaGolfCourses.com etc, and websites? As I said GolfersOnline.com is only the "homepage" link site to the network. Do I look to sell the domains, sites individually or create a package or packages.Potential buyers, golf manufacturers, existing golf websites perhaps?
Hence the problem of coming up with a value, maybe not the right place here perhaps?

It's worth reg fee as a DN, but could be a brandable name with decent content.

Your CPC costs would be minimal as there seems to be no competitors for the keyword "golfers online."

My bad, but maybe is better to list them here to reduce confusion.

I looked them, but sorry, did not see any value in them. SerbiaGolf.com c'mon :) There are only 3 golf clubs in whole country. I also do not think that it is grammatically correct (SerbianGolf.com or GolfInSerbia.com would be better IMHO, but they sucks too), but I am not native English speaker and my English sucks.

Also, just checked some other countries eg. GermanyGolfCourses.com, FranceGolfCourses.com, ItalyGolfCourses.com and they are free. As I said, I know that you have much much better domains in your portfolio then this.

Thanks, I did actually drop two of those you mentioned. One,and only one, of the live websites consistently gets xxxx offers but then it is top of its niche in a Google by a long way and the one that gets the most traffic.
Chances are I will keep it small and concentrate on the ones that get the traffic, monetize, and then see what happens. I definitely over stretched on this project, one and only time! :gl:

I feel your best case scenario would be to drop the idea of selling these names as a package, or individually.

Go with the initial name GolfersOnline, and put the work into a golfers forum site.

Get the member interest thats needed and form a small golfers online community.

With the proper work and marketing, you would have a very nicely valued site.

Maybe keep AustraliaGolfCourses for $hit's and giggles. Could sell to the right person.

I did read the post. I was looking at it as a standalone. I believe It does have branding value if the sub-sites do well.

Perhaps someone with SEO experience can comment on how page rank passes in a hierarchical networked situation? My understanding is page rank passes downstream which would mean that the sub sites benefit from the rank of the upstream site. Can it work the other way around?

Cheers,

Craig
