There doesn't really seem to be any recent references to Goldkey in this
form - most about a year old.

So...is anyone using them? If yes what are the pros and cons?

Seems I saw on their site that you can pick either a 1 or 2 click lander. My
big concern is having lots of latitude in picking keywords for the domain
the way I can with Parked (not the meta keywords).

Thanks...

I am using ActiveAudience, Owned by the same company NameMedia , They own ActiveAudience-SmartName and GoldKey.

They very rarely take applications for new clients, If you do sign up, make sure your whois information, matches the email addy you give on the application, Put as much of your portfolio in the application as possible.

An excellent company, with outstanding customer service, If you can get in, I have just been with them a couple of months now, I was turned down several times by all three companies, before getting accepted.

With the parking industry the way it is today, I am glad they aren't accepting new accounts, I don't need another Parked.com expierence.

But i feel sure "PackRat" Would do very well with the company.

Thanks to all who replied. I'll probably give them a shot - at least so I can see
what their customization options are.

Well...I feel the same as many people do. The writing has been on the wall for a couple of years. As for Parked, I'm sure that they will rebound and be better than ever. No harm at looking at other companies in the interiim.

I'm certainly not deserting parked. There's not a better parking service out there. I will continue to keep all my domains that are receiving traffic with Parked. I'm just exploring alternatives for the domains that never really did much at all at Parked.

You most likely carry the knowledge to be successful with the company.

The Parked.com experience, No one knowing why RPCs were dropping by the day, It was just a bad experience for me, Perhaps not for others, I dunno

I heard from many, many Parked clients both in the forums and personally that
RPC was tanking for them. It did for me. We all just hoped that the end of
arb would at least stop the plunge but that didn't happen. I've also heard that
RPC at other parking companies is also dropping but I don't have any data to
support that. I'll no doubt find out when I get to test some other companies.

What really ticks me off is the fact that advertizing through Google and Yahoo
(which I do for my businesses) still costs an arm and a leg so G and Y are making even more money by imposing the low RPC's.

I did use arb, but the names for which I used it were highly focused domains.
If someone clicked on my Adwords ad then they must have really been interested in that product. The Parked CTR for those domains was 80-100+
% so I can only make the assumption that the advertisers received good traffic from my pages - ie: likely to convert.

Sorry to be so far off the topic that I started :)

What was very interesting, I moved names over to another parking service, I got $4 a click, for a name that Parked was paying me 0.48 a click for, another name got 0.79 per click, Parked paid me 0.14 per click, for that same domain , Yahoo feed, same keyword. Struck me as very odd.

Hmm..that would lead one to believe that Parked is indeed being singled
out. Perhaps we could compare RPC for a given RPM. For a financial related
name, for example, what would your RPC be for an RPM of, say, $3000.00
