If we could all go back in time, and look at things from the perspective of children, this would be a much nicer world we live in.

Believe it or not, there are still little quaint towns out in very rural parts of America, where parents still feel safe letting their elementary-aged kids walk to or from school each day. One day, this kindergartner was walking home down a very long rural road from the nearest bus stop, as usual. As her mother sat at home, waiting on her to arrive, her mother noticed that a storm was starting to brew. She began to worry that either the thunder and lightening might scare the little girl, or that her daughter may get socking wet. She set-out, in her car, along the road her daughter would be walking, looking for her. The further she got down the road, the worse the thunder and lightning became. It had not started to rain, as of yet, but she still worried that her child would be scared. Finally, off in the distance, she saw her daughter walking in the grass along-side the road. The closer she got to her daughter, the stranger things appeared. Every time the mother heard the thunder, or saw a flash of lightening, she noticed that her daughter appeared to stop walking. As she pulled-up closer to her child, she noticed that not only did the child stop walking, but that she looked up into the sky at the lightening. She began to worry that her daughter was, as she had feared, scared of the lightening and thunder. When she finally got to her daughter's location, pulled up besides her, and began to call for her to come get into the car, she noticed something even more strange. As one last flash of lightening splashed across the sky, she noticed that not only did her daughter stop and look up, but that the girl had a huge smile on her face. She yelled out the window, "Why are you stopping, and why are you smiling, when it is lightening out here?" Her daughter's reply......
"I'm trying to smile and look pretty. God keeps taking my picture."
