GoDaddy VS Blue host?

whats is the best hosting services provider Go daddy VS Blue Host. suggest me?

All you have to do is go to any affiliate marketing forum, where you have people that generally have lots of sites, most of them with the kind of traffic that only needs shared hosting and you'll get results like this - http://www.abestweb.com/forums/domains-hosting-148/poll-900-web-host-choose-multidomain-hosting.html

Nope. Bluehost and Hostmonster are.

As for Godaddy vs Bluehost, I'd say the optimum choice is neither. But if you really had to choose one, the choice would probably be Bluehost. Godaddy's been slow all the time in my experience.

I had used Godaddy for more than 2 years. I have a forum is I host for my friend and it's a none profit. When we couldn't use shared hosting anymore everywhere only Godaddy shared hosting account did save us. We had a forum with 100-200 active members (daily) hosted at their lowest shared hosting package and had pretty much hassle free time there.

There are only few downsides I have noticed. They don't have Cpanel and their control pannel is bit slow and take time to get used to. Their support is okey but don't except them to babysit you (if you are a newbie).

I don't remember having a downtime with them either.

I'd say it really depends what your planning on doing. If you are running a small site with barely any traffic and a lot of static content then sure godaddy is fine. If you running more of a dynamic website with a little more traffic then bluehost may be a better alternative. As many have mentioned thought don't limit yourself to just these two hosts!

GoDaddy has the worst control panel out there. They are also a domain registrar who offers hosting as a side line. You should choose a host that puts hosting first.

GoDaddy isn't a hosting company. I don't care if they provide the service. You have much better options out there which are affordable. Get the cheapest HostGator package instead.

I left bluehost when they changed boss, and i found they changed live chat as well

Godaddy was my first web hosting and till now, if they use Cpanel will be better.

What was said above, you should never get your hosting where you get your domains.

As far as shared hosting HostGator is clearly the best, can show you polls from people who have lots of sites.

HostGator has been a great company for years but we'll see what happens now that they've been bought out by EIG.

Years later, I found some private Bluehost tech support chat logs on a tech support employee's blog where she openly made fun of customers.

Well company like these one fish for customer with overselling "Unlimited Space/Bandwidth" offers and many folks go with them knowing that the serve provider misleads the audience about the resource usage and plies "Hidden TOS" to limit the "Unlimited"!

HostGator has been a great company for years but we'll see what happens now that they've been bought out by EIG.

It seems EIG has been gobbling up alot of hosting companies...

Lots of irate customers during the migration process when they bought Netfirms last year...

Well remember EIG also owns Bluehost so if EIG is a problem for you you may want to avoid Bluehost and Hostgator.

That's pretty sad really. Obviously you've not tried many other hosts or only have a static page that's not mission critical.

Nowadays I see lots of bad replies on EIG so I recommend users to stay away from their hosts if quality service is needed
