GoDaddy redirect question

Hi Guys,
wanted to doublecheck this as i know what godaddy are like for stealth charges.

Domains in my account i either have set to my own dns and am building out or have parked with an outside parking compnay.

If i want to effect some redirects, do i need to first change to godaddys hosting nameservers?

choice is:

1/ godaddy hosting nameservers
2/ godaddy parked nameservers
3/ custom nameservers

now its clearly not 3/ if i want to make use of their redirect service

grateful if somebody to clear this one up for sure and confirm they dont bill for this service

so just to clarify, set dns to parked nameservers at godaddy, then after they are set i can initiate my redirects?

quite why they keep changing over time their configurations, i guess if they change in future it automatically updates ?

yes, you're right.
well it's one mark of godaddy :lol:
i don't use them if redirecting
i use freedns.afraid.org much faster and better for me :imho:
and supports mass modify via an app downloadable from their site, great if you have thousands of parked domains just want to change url forward/redirect.

There are should be options to leave the servers by default. Leave it until you decide what to do with domain name (park host or something else)
