GoDaddy Question...

Good Morning...

I just have a quick question! I was wondering if there is a way to transfer a parked GoDaddy domain name to another GoDaddy user without going through the entire change reg process... I only ask, because many times buyers send me their GoDaddy user names... so I'm just curious. It sure would make things a lot faster.

Thanks so much, and have a great day :)

checked out your site. interesting,
what do you mean buyers send you their GD user names?
are you buying?
some for sell?
I have bad experience with Go Daddy but
that's another story

OK... for example, If I sell a domain at ebay (parked at GoDaddy). I ask for the specific info required to initiate the transfer...(name, addy, company, phone etc) Instead they send me their GoDaddy user name and say... just use this to transfer it to my Account. (???) I just don't get it. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how, or IF, its even possible. Thats what I'm trying to find out :)

By the way, thank you for checking out my site... I just launched it yesterday.

I am 99% sure that GoDaddy doesn't have a push system. I don't like godaddy anyway.. 8.95 for .com/.net/.org , I can get them for 8.88 with namecheap and with a push system ;)

you can transfer to another godaddy account its just not as easy as typing username and saying push to that account. you have to give them the whois info for the new owner and then they get an email with a link to claim the domain. no fees involved.

Free but certainly a bit time consuming. I often read in the threads that the seller of a DN at GoDaddy will "push' the DN to the buyer but I believe that what has to happen is the seller needs the following info from the buyer:

First and last name
Address
e-mail address
City
State
Country
Phone Number

ST
