GoDaddy question

This isn't really a question of any importance or anything, but why did GoDaddy change their original saying from "Make a name with us" to "Make a .com name with us"? They changed it months (or maybe even a year) ago, but why? Were they violating a trademark using that slogan or something?

IMO it may state the company service better , .com may mean existing in internet while promote on medias.

I never noticed that. There isn't a TM issue as GD has the dead TMs for "make a name with us." They also have the registered TM for "Make a .com name with us." You can see uspto.gov for more info on the TMs.
