Anyone else having problems with the FTP? It hasn't updated for me since 30th of September.

Edit: Sorry, I meant the FTP that has the auction lists/TDNAM/GoDaddy closeouts.

Are you using FTP to manage your hosting / website account at GoDaddy?

I'll tag @Joe Styler of Afternic here as well. Maybe he can help.

Thanks the team is working on it. At some point in the future we are going to retire the FTP altogether. Is there any reason you cannot get the data you need from the saved searches if we expanded the number of results?
So for instance you can setup a saved search to run daily and send you the data for the expired domains added that day and it will email you a daily csv with the data.

Thanks for the quick answer!

The only minor problem I can see with the "saved search solution" is the 40000 row limit for your CSV files.

When do you expect to retire the FTP?

yes we would have to expand the number of rows in order to accomplish this. I would want it to be somewhere around double that to 100k rows.
We do not have a set date to retire it yet. But it will be at some point possibly next year. I will ask heavy users of the FTP first to make sure we have the use cases accounted for before we would remove it.

@Joe Styler I use the FTP to do daily automated searches for domains that I am interested in. Would we still be able to get access to a file with the complete data sets for all_expiring_auctions after you retire the FTP service? I use the json file (all_expiring_auctions.json) but could also do other formats with some code rewrite.

Hopefully you will get the files updating again soon as I am also encountering the issue of no updates for the last few days.

Thanks. Seems to have updated now.

I don't think I would have a problem with the saved searches instead of the FTP.

Yes, I noticed that the data is one again current so things seem to be back to normal.

Same here, also noticed that tdnam_all_listings3.csv.zip file has not been available for the last week or so.

We usually fix this same day if there is an error. I don't check on namepros everyday so I can't always fix it fast enough if I come late. Usually we fix it ourself same day but if you want to help speed it up you can contact the normal support channels and let them know and they will tell the right people to get it updated right away. Thanks for letting us know.

It's a constant errors galore at Godaddy and Afternic.

Very disappointed with your services, for a market leader.

@Future Sensors seems like a cookie error. Maybe try clearing your browsers cookies and give it another try.

@Joe Styler the mantra that I have always got from the Godaddy support team in the past has been "It's not us it's you. We are perfect and have the perfect systems that do not give trouble" so I never bother to reach out to Godaddy support as they are never any help. In any event the lists are still not updating.

I'm not sure why you are seeing that. Are you going to auctions.godaddy.com and then into the Tools menu and accessing the FTP files via the link? I just did in an incognito window in FF and it is working for me. I know we are updating the files daily. We have a lot of users accessing them without issue.

is that Chrome? I know yesterday Chrome released a new update that allowed a smaller cookie size for sites. We adjusted after they changed things yesterday so it should work now.

No, Firefox. But the many errors on Godaddy and Afternic are server side errors. Bad gateway errors, Internal Server errors, Service unavailable errors, etc. These are typically not browser errors.
