If there is a godaddy domain name expiring on May 16 that I want....when would I see it at the auction site?

It's somewhere in the region of 21-30 days after expiry. From memory it's about day 24.

is it? i thought it was 60-80something days.. redemption period dates and such..

25th day after expiration they list it for auction.
42nd day after expiration it is released.
