Fatwallet.com is a hotdeal forum and it gives 12% cashback on godaddy purchases to registered members. You can encash your cashback later to your paypal account.

Also, there is currently the coupon code cjc749fat, for .com at 7.49 ( Expires 31 March)

So, 7.49 - (7.49*12/100) = approximately 6.79.

icann fee 20 cent applies.

Check this link -
http://www.fatwallet.com/cash-back-coupons/GoDaddy/

Remember -
You need to click the godaddy link at fatwallet.com.
You need to be a registered member of fatwallet.com for getting this offer.
Coupons not present in the site may void your cashback.
Maybe this is applicable only to US residents ?

Read the instructions in that page clearly.

Other than being a Fatwallet.com member, I do not gain anything and have no commercial interest in them. I'm posting this because I feel fatwallet is not a competing forum for namepros. If this is inappropriate, please remove this post.

EDIT - Cashback is applicable to other extensions also... More coupon codes available at that link.

I wish Namepros also had a similar deal with godaddy so that members here will benefit a lot.

:hi:

Suppose you have another coupon discount code let's say for $6.99
(plus 20 cents ICANN fee) that's not listed on Fat Wallet.

Would the 12% Cash back still apply?

I think they do not allow that as the site explicitly says, it will void cashback.

Judging by the name in the code, it may be that FatWallet has an exclusive offer with GoDaddy, although they wouldn't need to have one. There's a $7.49 domain offer from GoDaddy in CJ (affiliate program), and their commission on domain registrations is 20%. So FatWallet could just have its members shop through its affiliate link, and then give back 12/20% (or 60% of what it earns).

Even I could turn around and offer NamePros members the same deal, or a better one (but obviously won't since this isn't my own site/advertising venue ;)). Technically it could be as low as $5.99 if the affiliate didn't want to make any profit on the sale.

One thing though, I think GoDaddy's program might only allow an account to be credited with an affiliate sale once (although I could be mistaken).

Yep, applying coupons, unless specifically allowed, basically removes the affiliate code.

There is already a coupon code that will allow to register domain for $6.99

Coupon Code: yhkw105a
> Valid for new registration!!

$6.99 + 20c = $7.19

So it will save our 20 cent.. i think.... B-)

Cheers!!

I've done this before as nmridul stated (including using a coupon) and I got cash back. Pretty good deal.
