GoDaddy changes $1.99 promotion

Hello!

It seems $1.99 domains at Godaddy are only available with hosting, site builder, blog or Traffic Blazer, and not with TDNAM or appraisals for example.
But their limitations page still don't reflect this.

Have you tried it lately?

Those other non-domain products are a bit expensive, so the good promotion seems to have ended. Now there isn't a good coupon for tdnam membership, and not even a discounted domain registration to give a better value. Oh well...

I don't think that the $1.99 promotion was ever included with just a TDNam purchase. They also still have the Discount Domain Club https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/club/landing.asp?isc=bowlgame07&ci=8994 It is the same price it has been for a very long time if I am not mistaken.

for a long time, the 1.99 does not make much of the loop hole, specially if you join their club.

It did work in the past, because I used them both (with tdnam membership - not tdnam domain buying - and with domain appraisal).

Well, not a big problem though...
