Last night I registered a couple of hundred domains at GoDaddy and the price was $6.65 + 20c ICANN fee each. However I went to registere another few hundred domains tonight and was shocked to see my checkout total of $6.99 + 20c ICANN fee each.
It seems that they have decided to raise their bulk registration fees. This is a real bummer as I'd rather register with Moniker anyway (who are now cheaper too) however as I am mainly registering names for quick flips I am really locked to GoDaddy as they are the registrar that everyone has an account with and makes it easier for sales.
Would this fee hike be in preparation for the ICANN increased fees? What do others think of this?
