You "might" skinny by with an informational site (strictly) BUT Gmail is still TMed, there are still issues, and you could still potentially lose the domain.

Same case with PaypalSucks... if PayPal chose to, they could initiate litigation at any time.

50,000 Gmail domains do not make a right... the more popular your site becomes, the more risk you'll expose yourself to.

Gmail didn't buy that domain because they didn't "have" to.. the name is protected by trademark law.

Unfortuanately id have to agree with David here....

Even if you someone manage to skip the TM issues... the domain isnt not good anyway, wouldnt be very good to develop etc.

That is exactly the kind of faulty logic that would lose this domain for you if it ever came to court..
