Looks like gmail is now available on mobile devices. Before, to access your mail account on your cell phone, you had to use a third party site and change your password often. This should be a little more secure

Some devices can access regular gmail, but small mobile devices like cell phones weren't able to. Were you using a cell phone?

Mobile Gmail means WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) access to Gmail.
