People are gonna say its a trademark ,but hundreds and hundreds disney vendors use disney in their domains ,and they are not mom and pop ops.disney is not gonna go after someone selling their product.MAYBE So you can hunt down companies that use disney already in their url and try to sell them this which is probably better than the one they have. Your not talking big bucks either maybe 200-500 bucks. Dont call disney that mouse will kill you.

TM, delete it and move on IMO.

Trademarked name, drop this one ASAP. Disney are one of the most aggressive companies when it comes to protecting their brand. Just stay away from company names in this business. Its not professional and against the law and wont do much for your reputation here.

@ben pedri

I would be very careful advising people to try sell trademark names. Read some the articles and see what can happen to people who do this. I assume you would be able sleep ok at night if someone took your advice and had a lawsuit filed against them??

When you say there are 100's of websites out there using Disney in their names, it means there are 100's of squatters out there with no conscience at all that just haven't been caught yet. I have use this example a few times, but if you saw someone shoplifting and they didnt get caught, does it make it ok for you to go and steal something too?? Just think about, its common sense really.

@Ravinder Kumar

Read through this section, do a search for Disney as well

Don't listen to this guy.

If there is a website that uses Disney in the domain it is because Disney OK'd it and they have a contract.

For an appraisal I would say negative whatever you paid for it.
So -$10 or more if you are sued!!!!
Drop it and all domains you own that have a companies brand in it.

Only holding a domain can create problems ? (Without monetization)

I have forgotten what you know

What?
Do you mean to say "I have forgotten more than you know!"?
Or do you mean you've forgotten a lot. Because I happen to know A LOT.

Disney is TM. Your answer to this guy ways very bad advice. Even contacting a disney vendor will get him reported to disney.
Again don't listen to anyone that tells you to use or purchase any domain that has a brand name in it or that can be construed as having a TM issue.

Disney won't go after someone that is selling their product that has been ok'd to do so prior to selling their product.

Try selling a mickey mouse tee shirt design without disney's written consent. Try selling a "vendor" a disney domain and see what happens "smart guy".

Just like the domain, your advice on this is worthless. Actually it can be costly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave the guy good advise,the guy owns the domain already ,basically i put all the warning in the context let me feed them to you real...llll slow , I Told the guy to go to approved vendors that may not
have as good as a name . I also said not to call disney because the mouse wil kill him , now if you need to be spoon fed some more go to your mommy

Wow. You don't know the law at all. Just because he could register the domain doesn't make it legal to own.
Going to anyone with a Trade Marked domain that you don't own the trademark for or have not been given the right to use, is a bad idea.
Telling someone to try to sell something that is trademarked is horrible advice. Period.

Stop typing and read something on trademark infringement.

you don't have to get personal. If you can't win the fight with the facts don't start the fight.
Telling him to try to get a refund is the best advice.

Sorry for the negative appraisal amount. Just was trying to say you lost what you had into it.
Plus you could lose more if they sue you.
So regfee....
