I'm a fan of contrast (well, mostly) and never a fan of dark designs -- I'd recommend either making a slightly lighter background for your paragraph texts in the same color scheme and/or playing with the text for optimal readability. You could also try increasing the font a little bit, which should help weight the text slightly.
To be safe though, check your site with as many different computers/os' as possible. If you did it on a mac, remember PC users will see it darker. If you did it on windows, the opposite is usually true. It won't hurt to find someone with a linux box too, for good measure. I'll admit, I haven't collaborated my monitor in a long while so some of my viewpoints may not apply as much as I think they do.
Other than the aforementioned thoughts, its looking good. The information in the end will be key anyway, at least I like to think so.
[edit]I just realized on the flash version, the way the pages turn can be a little annoying.. I have to ensure I click the corners of the pages. I'm not sure if it just *feels* annoying to me because flash support is pretty lax for *nix OS' or what.
Also, I thought I'd post my current resolution which is 1280x1024, mostly because sourcez mentioned the fact the text is small on higher resolutions. I'd stick to em's though.[/edit]
