Guys, I just received this bid via Sedo for GirlyGang.com. I hope I'm a member in good enough standing and with enough ethical dealings that you know I'm not trying to shill the bid or get it here just to drive up your bids. It may be a no-payer. It may be a fake. It may be a bid made for other purposes than to buy the actual name. If you had the domain name, you might never get a bid for it again, and the sedo bidder may not bid again for it after you own it.
This is one of those 'timing' moments that defines who you are; of course I'll hate to sell the name for 5 or 10 bucks here when there's a minimum $500 offer (that I'm quite sure I could negotiate upward) looming for it on Sedo as of this morning's email; but I'll turn it down and follow the rules of the auction here at wonderful Namepros :)

My minimum bid price at Sedo for this was 500, and I had 'make offer' as the buy price. It is parked with girly art and stuff on it, not as adult. I guess I could ask to be 'released' from the auction under these circumstances... but that doesn't feel right according to who I am, either. So, proceed accordingly.:xf.love:

Thanks for the bids, high bid is Mitch007 @ $16.

I won't respond to the Sedo bid, so it will time out in another 4 1/2 days from now. Then I'll take the listing off Sedo. Hopefully the new buyer from this thread will get another offer from that same person if you re-list it on Sedo, but of course there are no guarantees. Sedo doesn't list details of buyers, other than to say this offer was from Germany from a person who has belonged to Sedo since May 2002, so obviously a domainer rather than end user, though could be a domainer-developer.

I thought of trying to swing a deal whereby I negotiate this deal with Sedo, try to negotiate the buyer a little higher, and split the proceeds with the new Namepros 'owner', whoever wins this thread... since a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, so to speak, and it might benefit us both if I take the Sedo sale now, rather than the new Namepros owner never receiving another offer for it... but that just gets messy and too many areas for cloudy judgement and confused dealings, so I won't try orchestrate anything, I'll keep it pure.

Carry on as you like. I'm trying to include all relevant issues as they arise, to keep the thread transparent and so all bidders here know what's what. Otherwise, for example, you'd see a '1 bid' on the Sedo page for this name and be wondering what's going on.

P.S.
Anyone who doesn't know what's going on, pls see post #6 in this thread to clarify :)
