domain gimpshop.com appraisal...

Gimpshop is a new, modified version of the GIMP (the most popular graphics program for Linux), that allows it to look like Photoshop, which was the only complaint people ever really had.

I have gimpshop.com. Two days ago, there were 40 results on google. Today, there are over 2000, and growing. It's a wildly popular program. My hits are booming right now, seemingly exponentially. Started off the first day with 17 hits (only had a few hours of that day up), and it's already surpassed that mark today a few hours in.

What would you all value this domain at, assuming the program keeps its popularity?

There are not copyright problems, btw, as it's an open-source and public domain program, with no copyright or trademarks.

It was recently on a front of slashdot, too, just to show you how popular it's getting.

Having so many qualities which jehnidiah has mentioned in his post, the name appears to have considerable potential, hence High $xx to Low $xxx, IMO.

A very good name as the "Gimp" is a very used freeware.Excellent development potential IMO
