disclaimer! project is in pre pre alfa :) so there still a lot of bugs, there is no tutorials at all... everything could be not easy to understand. english is not our native language, so there could be errors in translation.
most of that will be fixed in couple weeks/month.

see video example below that post

Hello everyone. I want to introduce interesting project, currently in MVP stage / beta testing.

Purpose of creating this thread is to receive feedback on idea/website and advise on promoting to find investor.

    Fully working MVP version:

    https://www.gilza.com (available)

Also, you can check "in development" version here:

    https://stage.gilza.com (available)

And you can subscribe to Facebook page to stay tuned on development process.

    About Gilza

Gilza - would be social platform for horizontal "movies", where you can upload many videos and creatte a connection between them with actions (buttons, that viewer of this videos should use). It's could be an art-movie, or represent some business/service. It can be a social quiz or story with different endings.

You uploading many small videos and build an interactive scenarios, the user who views your video project, choosing next video-steps by pressing buttons over and over until he get to final step he was looking for. There are option to finish on contact form at the end. In the future we plan to add API to allow developers to add custom solutions, like integrating products from online shops, or services, or download some files, or make a real call to the author.

Final video project could be available on main page, or be on a single page available by direct link, or it could be integrated on website using HTML tags, or can be integrated on website as an widget (popping out like an online chat, as video advisor instead of chat).

    How this is done.

    1. You need to think about an idea or story to tell and write a small scenario. It's depends on purposes, that you follows. If you interested in rising social activity gain subscribers, views etc... Or may be you interested in dating, so you can create kind of "about me" video project, where you answering random questions and the user feels like he is interacting with you, asking exactly what he want to know about you. Or may be you representing your services (let's say you a lawyer).

    2. Then you recording "first introducing video". Where you say "Hello, i am John Doe. I am a lawyer... etc.. How can i help you?". Then you add first 3-5 buttons with predefined questions:
"Location" - And recording tiny video explaining where are you located, if there any parking optioins, and working hours.
"Experience" - Here you can talk about your experience, education and other...
"Showcase" - In this video you can tell about successful cases..
"Specialties" - Now real interactive beings... This button will open tiny video, that explain about different specialties of lawyers and will offer the viewer to select one of them:

    (After this, new buttons appears):
    • Family law
    • Bankruptcy law
    • Criminal law
    • Civil rights law
    • Health law
    • Immigration law
And from here - for each "option" you prepare another short videos (tiny video answers). Each answer offer you to get back to the previous list, or go further and get more details about specific subject and at the end, guide you to make a call, to leave your contacts via contact form (integrated in video window instead of buttons). Or... to purchase some product directly from video player.

I would be very grateful if someone could create their first video project and send a link to what they did.

P.S. - and I know there's lot's of bugs. A lot of features still not available (like comments)

    1. Uploading indicator not working. Only processing video indicator is do work.
    2. Also we broke views counter (it's worked before).
    3. Filter for videos temporary not working, because of implemented scroll-snap-stop feature. Will be fixed soon.
    4. When assigning categories, it required twice to press on button until it's added.

Thank you for the first answer :) I definitely created a bad and messed introduction :D

We've developed media server backend app, which runs on different servers (two for now in proxmox, please see attached screenshot). That should be enough for MVP and showcase. And in case if needed it's possible to add more bare metal resources.

But in case of production, i am sure i will find some kind of cloud solution with CDN. That's not a problem when you have money :)

P.S. - now the production version is deployed and available on https://www.gilza.com/
